Liberogic is pleased to announce its sponsorship of GAAD Japan 2026, to be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
What is GAAD?
A global day dedicated to digital accessibility
GAAD began in 2012 as a day to consider accessibility in the digital field (web, software, mobile, and more). Each year, various events and activities are held worldwide on this day.
GAAD Japan was first held in 2020 as an online seminar for Japan, and this year marks its seventh consecutive year.
The purpose of this day is to create an opportunity for everyone to discuss, reflect on, and learn about digital accessibility (web, software, mobile, and more) and the needs of users with various disabilities.
GAAD targets designers, developers, UX professionals, and members of other related communities—anyone who creates, provides, or influences technology and its access. Many people interested in making technology accessible to people with disabilities often don't know where to start or how to approach it.
Start by learning. We encourage you to read Joe Devon's blog post (published November 2011), which sparked this global initiative.

Background of sponsorship
In recent years, interest in accessibility in the digital field has grown rapidly, driven by revisions to the Disability Discrimination Prevention Act and other legislative changes.
Liberogic has been supporting many companies and organizations in improving their web accessibility through professional diagnostic services that comply with public standards, with the goal of creating websites that are welcoming to all.
We have decided to sponsor GAAD Japan 2026 in alignment with GAAD's mission to raise awareness globally about the importance of digital accessibility, and with the spirit of this initiative.
Building on this sponsorship, we are committed to continuously improving our expertise and capabilities, and will work toward realizing a future where everyone can benefit from digital society without barriers.
